Yes, we know and we understand that studying is important. But this does not mean that we don't take pride in our Athletes. King's has a wonderfully welcoming athletic community, and invites all and everyone to come play for the King's Amateur Athletic Associaton or CUBE. Or any of the sports teams, Rugby, Basketball, Volleyball and even Badminton.
Gary Thorne, the King's Chaplain once heard someone playing Ukelele in the Quad at 2:00AM
He was disapointed that the student didn't use the Chapel to play his music!
Whatever your faith, The chapel at King's is a place for peace and reflection. Many stories have come from their of people that just need to be alone with their thoughts. The Chaplaincy makes sure that it is a safe space for everyone of all beliefs, and that anyone who needs a safe haven from the constant terrors of FYP essays can find it in there. It is a one of a kind location, and the Chaplaincy does its best to keep it that way......and yeah, they have a choir too :)!

Don't Panic.....Yes, that seems like a big undertaking, and to be honest it is. But you would not have signed up for this course if you weren't excited as could be about delving into it. All the professors have been equipped to not only help you pass this year, but more importantly, to understand THE ENTIRE WESTERN TRADITION!
Coffee By Day, Beer by Night
The Day Bay does both! At King's both the Campus Cafe, and the Campus bar are owned and operated by the King's Student Union. The Campus Bar (The Wardroom) is a center where you can either read quietly or dance up a storm depending on the Night. The Cafe (The Galley) is the daytime operation which serves Locally Sourced Food and Beverages.

When Residence is no longer your home...
The DSS is on the Job! The Day Student Society, are those loveable people who make sure that King's is still a place to hang out. Whether that is providing bikes or umbrella rentals for the long way home, or having awesome events that bring Day Students on Campus. These guys will make sure everyone feels welcome on the Kings Campus.
Throough The Looking Glass....
If you do the typical run from Sodexo to lecture at 9:29, you will probably be running by the link. Whenever you are, you can make sure to say hi to our beloved Student Union. They are working day and night to make sure that you, as a student are taken care of. They make sure you have insurance, are heard by the University President, and have almost unlimited access to condoms.....they also look great in pictures!
